LMN is indebted to many individuals, as well as trusts, foundations and public bodies, whose financial support enables us to maintain our services and improve delivery.
Our donors' contributions strengthen and extend the very special support that LMN music activity brings to an amazing range of communities who are normally at the margins of society.
- Over the past 33 years, funding from donors has helped LMN reach into the heart of communities and bring wide-ranging benefits to over 3 million people.
- Over 1000 musicians have trained with LMN to go on into the highest musical organisations of this country.
- A total of 50,000 performances have taken place, reaching over 2 million people of all ages.
- Since 1977, we have grown from one London office to 9 branches covering the whole of the UK and Ireland, with a breadth of knowledge and experience derived from a continuity of leadership and staff.
We know that we are only reaching a fraction of the groups who could benefit. Every day, each of our branches receives requests for live music sessions which have to join a long waiting list, as the demand far outstrips our ability to deliver.
But with our donors' help, we can work together to provide high quality music, improve participants' wellbeing and contribute to the helath of the community in which they live.
Because so many of the settings where LMN projects take place are unable to meet the costs, we are dependent on the financial support of trusts, companies and statutory bodies. We are also grateful to our many individual donors and 'in kind' partners, and supporters who include LMN as a beneficiary when making or updating a will.
