Young man singing into microphone with LMN musicians Young men beating drums in LMN workshop Two musicians with drums and shakers playing close to a young audience
£60 helps one prisoner spends two hours outside his/her cell and engage in purposeful group music activity. £600 sees 10 prisoners improve social and communication skills through purposeful activity in a group music workshop. £4,800 provides a programme of 8 music sessions through which 10 prisoners acquire transferable skills.

The music project is something where the inmates can feel they are taking ownership and say: 'This is our own'. I suppose it's sort of therapy as well because it makes people feel good about themselves. Participant, LMN project, HMP Wormwood Scrubs
