The LMN London branch covers the 32 London boroughs and counties of South East England and East Anglia. There are over 180 top young musicians, covering all musical genres based in the region, and LMN London aims to support their developing careers by offering support, training, performance and project opportunities. Currently the branch has active contact with around 500 venues across the region and aims to reach as many of those as possible on a regular basis.
As well as providing around 450 interactive live music performances annually in a wide variety of community settings LMN London is running several major projects. These include a project delivering 6 performances and workshops in 18 London schools over a 3 year period funded by the John Lyons Charity and a project funded by Essex County Council which is providing regular performances in each of the 22 Runwood residential homes across the county. The branch organises regular programmes of music for many of the London hospitals, totalling around 120 sessions a year. LMN London also works with several Festivals across the region offering LMN musicians performance opportunities on both the concert platform as well as associated outreach work.
