Kerry Kalokoh joins the LMN team as new Director for North West region

Live Music Now is pleased to announce the appointment of Kerry Kalokoh as the new Director of the North West branch.
A passionate believer in the power of music to transform the lives of individuals and communities, Kerry's role at Live Music Now will see her develop projects and programmes across the North West and West Midlands as well as work closely with musicians and partners to take world class music to those with the least access.

Kerry's work is supported by the North West administrator, Margaret Gambon, and the North West Advisory Committee, chaired by LMN Governor/Trustee, Kate Buchanan.
Kerry has worked in the arts since graduating from The University of Kent at Canterbury with a BA (Hons) in Social Anthropology in 2000. Starting as a volunteer at Music for Change, a diverse, educational arts organisation in Canterbury, Kerry worked her way up to Chief Executive post. Kerry has co-ordinated international educational arts projects to Sierra Leone, West Africa and Kolkata, India for Creative Partnerships Kent, was a part of the Roots Roundabout consortium attracting the best of music from around the world to small and medium sized venues. Kerry returned to her native Morecambe in August 2007 where she worked as the Arts Development Manager for Lancaster City Council before moving to More Music, a community music and art organisation. Kerry maintains her role as part time Operations Director for More Music.
