Live Music Now North West undertakes musical work throughout the counties of Cheshire, Lancashire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and all unitary authorities. We have built a reputation for providing high quality musicians to Special Schools, Adult Day Centres, Pupil Referral Units and Old Peoples Homes.
The branch prides itself in providing a service which is in addition to the services already available. The type of work the North West is involved in is:
• Weekly workshops by professional musicians in special schools.
• Residencies with Local Authority Partners to give continued service from child to adult.
• Regular performances in residential and care homes for the elderly
• Weekly workshops by professional musicians in Hospice settings
Our partners are Vale Royal Borough Council, Bridgewater Hall, Elms Bank High School Arts College, Tor View Arts College, Millwood Special School, The Birches School and Bolton Hospice.
We are fortunate to be supported on a regular basis by a number of organisations and trusts two of which are Association of Greater Manchester Authorities and Arts Council England.
