A busy branch - with a highly experienced team. Our geographical spread is Gloucestershire to Cornwall and the Scilly Isles, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands.
We have dedicated project managers who are committed to the benefits of Live Music Now within their particular sector. Our work within the justice system has won national acclaim and both this and our work involving older people, are showcased regularly at major conferences throughout the UK.
All our projects demonstrate that music is a universal language which crosses social and cultural boundaries, contributing to greater communication, confidence, and self expression. Currently 50% of the branch's work is in the Justice System, where our experience has shown that strengthening the inner person, by developing a person's soft skills, (confidence, communication, social), can be the most important contribution to the rehabilitation of offenders. In this age of prison overcrowding and increased youth crime, we have found something that is having an effect on the lives of offenders, and those at risk of offending. This work is vital and needs to continue to find a place in the justice system. We are looking to strengthen our dedicated justice activity, as there are many additional parameters to working within these settings.
