LMN is organised through a network of nine areas covering the UK, with branches in England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

The charity's trustees, who take final responsibility for the general and financial well-being of the scheme, are the Board of Governors under the Chairmanship of Ian Stoutzker.

Each Governor is associated with an area, and in turn, chairs the area's advisory committee.

Each area is run by a Director, who may have an Administrator or Assistant, or other secretarial or clerical help as appropriate.

LMN works with around 350 individual musicians in any one year, based all around the country.
