Celebrate our national bard, Rabbie Burns, with a packed programme of performances and activities for all ages at the National Museums Scotland. Live Music Now Scotland is proud to present an afternoon programme of live music compered by Gary Innes, the new presenter of BBC Radio Scotland popular and long-running Take the Floor show. Music will be provided by Scottish traditional trio, Aonach Mòr and Glasgow-based folk band Barluath plus Jeana Leslie and Adam Brown. Special early years performances of Traditional Tunes for Tiny people by Aonach Mor, Jeana Leslie and Adam Brown and Ainley Hamill and Alistair Paterson. #BurnsUnbound is part of Scotland’s Winter Festivals Celebrating the 2017 Year of history, Heritage and Archaeology. This programme of events is managed by EventScotland, part of VisitScotland, on behalf of the Scottish Government. Performances are FREE and run throughout the day from 11am- 4pm.
