Wee Drams, Live Music Now Scotland

This was a South Lanarkshire Council partnership multi-arts project. It was developed in response to an identified need outlined by the Care Commission's focus on meaningful activity. The programme focused on Dance, Reminiscence through Drama, Arts, Music and finally Screen. Projects were run in 7 central care homes and LMN Scotland delivered the music element of the project comprising a series of 48 performances. Response to the music performances was extremely positive, cited in the Evaluation as a favourite amongst most participants with a tremendous 81% commenting that these were excellent. In response to demand phase 2 of the project took a performance to each of the 24 care home and day centres across the authority.
