Live Music Now is excited to be in the initial stages of becoming a partner with the Lullaby Project; pairing LMN musicians with pregnant women and new mothers and fathers to write and sing personal lullabies for their babies, supporting maternal health, aiding childhood development, and strengthening the bond between parent and child.

In New York City, the project reaches parents in healthcare settings, homeless shelters, high schools, foster care, and correctional facilities. Extending across the country and around the world, the Lullaby Project enables partner organisations to support families in their own communities.

NHS Innovation Agency's Caroline Kenyon hosted a podcast in conversation with LMN North West musician Pip Bryan and Director Karen Irwin along with Tiffany Ortiz, Director of Early Childhood Programs for Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Institute, and musician Emily Eagen.

Tiffany and Emily introduce the Lullaby Project and share some powerful stories about its impact, whilst Pip and Karen talk about Live Music Now’s music partnership with Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and the potential to bring the Lullaby Project to North West England and beyond.
