The Borealis Saxophone Quartet comprises of saxophonists Alastair Penman, Gillian Blair, Victoria Puttock and Meriel Price. The versatility of their instruments allows them to perform music which spans many genres including classical, contemporary and jazz. You can expect to hear fresh arrangements of well known tunes, music written especially for the quartet and a few surprises!
Over the last decade, the quartet have enjoyed playing at a variety of events including performances at the BBC Proms, broadcasts on BBC Radio 3, a tour to Serbia and playing a bride and groom down the aisle at a Star Wars themed wedding!
