Boardman Ferla Duo is predominantly a Classical duo that also explores music from the genres of Opera, Folk and Musical Theatre. Nicole Boardman and Giordano Ferla formed their duo, after performing Brahms’ ‘Liebeslieder’ at a charity concert, deciding to combine their love for Classical music, to explore and perform other genres.
Originally from Rome, Italy, and Liverpool, England – Nicole and Giordano met in Cardiff, at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and love to include folk music from Wales, England and Italy, within their programmes, to creative a variety of genres, to connect with their audiences. Since forming their Duo, Giordano and Nicole have enjoyed touring their music in person throughout England and Wales, performing as far as Plymouth to Carmarthenshire.
When they are not performing together, Giordano performs with the Electric Light Orchestra and Nicole tours with the National Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company.
