Inner Vision Strings OnWood

Inner Vision Strings OnWood are guest artists for Live Music Now in partnership with Inner Vision Orchestra and Baluji Music Foundation.

“Strings OnWood” is a duo comprising Abi Baker and Takashi Kikuchi. Abi is from the UK and plays the violin and Takashi is from Japan and plays the viola. They have both been playing since childhood and met at The Royal College of Music in 2004. As well as playing as a duo, they also perform as individuals and as members of the Inner Vision Orchestra, which is made up of professional musicians who are all visually impaired. As well as performing, Abi and Takashi are also experienced teachers and find this work immensely rewarding. Expect to be captivated by a beautiful blend of UK folk with influences from Japan.
