Bio

Lizzie (piano) and Lottie (vocal) are currently both students at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Currently, Lizzie is an undergraduate student and Lottie is completing her postgraduate degree. While predominantly classically trained, they both enjoy and are well versed in a range of genres from Musical Theatre and Contemporary Pop through to Jazz.

In her free time, Lottie is a bursary student with the BBC National Choir of Wales and is currently working with the Welsh National Youth Opera on their upcoming production of ‘Cheryomouski’ by Shostakovich. Alongside her singing projects, she is passionate about working with children as she is a Performing Arts teacher at Jigsaw Cardiff, a co-leader of Cardiff Children’s Choir and also a workshop leader as she has recently run opera workshops in and around Pembrokeshire. Lizzie’s main passion comes from teaching young children: like Lottie she is co-leader and accompanist of Cardiff Children’s choir and works for Gwent County Music Service delivering 1:1 piano lessons to children across the county. Lizzie particularly enjoys working with singers and has recently had the pleasure of working with Tim Rhys-Evans, MBE, as RWCMD’s Chamber Choir accompanist.

Having both been keen musicians from a young age, they have now decided to further their careers by joining Live Music Now as a duo. They are beyond excited to see how their combined enjoyment for music can continue to grow on this new journey together. With music in their heads and a passion to inspire deep in their hearts, Lizzie and Lottie can only hope that the music they share will instil the same love and healing power in those who need it most.
