Classically trained baritone Jack Lawrence-Jones and pianist Kaoru Wada met at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, in London. After many recitals and performances together, in 2016 they formed the Lógos Duo.
The Lógos Duo aim to present music in innovative ways, juxtaposing styles and historical periods to tell stories and shed new light on traditional repertoire. They are inspired by opening audiences up to music they wouldn’t normally listen to. Whether it’s early 17th century opera or Elvis, they believe that all forms of music are relevant to modern audiences.
KAORU WADA is a collaborative pianist based in London. Originally from Japan and now based in London, Kaoru Wada enjoys a busy career as a collaborative pianist specialising in the art of song accompaniment and chamber music. She works with leading singers and instrumentalists of her generation and has given recitals through-out Europe. Kaoru is currently a staff pianist at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and teaches piano at Eton College.”
