Bio

Rachel writes and sings songs located in her hometown of Medway on the North Kent coast which has been an unlikely melting pot of creativity for the last 50 years. She is fascinated by local stories and folk history which she translates into musical interludes, her rich, smoky, compelling vocals over intricate ukulele parts. Whether it is the Lion Queen or the river that gave the towns it’s name and purpose, you can expect captivating storytelling about landmarks and people that feel familiar wherever you are from.
