Go Live with Live Music Now! Livestreaming using ‘Open Broadcasting Software’ (OBS) - RecordedTraining Session 10.3.21
This session is led by Joy Stacey, a recording engineer, mix engineer and workshop leader. She explores why it's helpful to use OBS to livestream, what's needed and demonstrates a technical set up to live stream to Facebook Live and YouTube. LMN musician Zoe Wren does a technical run through of her own set up.

Returning to In-Person Performances - Recorded Musicians' Webinar 16.9.20
Here's the LMN Musicians' zoom meeting that took place on 16.9.20. This covers the current state of play in care homes and special schools, government guidance on the workplace and public performances and the documentation that Live Music Now will be putting in place with venues and musicians.

Musicians Survey Results - August 2020: Over 120 current musicians from all six branches of Live Music Now (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) completed a short survey designed to understand their readiness to deliver in person Live Music Now sessino in the context of Covid-19, and any help, equipment or additional support they may need to do so. Live Music Now's Ensemble Hesperi were delivering a 12-week music residency at Park Avenue care home in Bromley, when the Covid19 lockdown was declared. This case study tells the story of how they continued to visit residents online, and the fantastic musical response from the care home staff team as well. It includes lots of tips about how musicians can provide live-streamed interactive music sessions for care homes.
