Live Music Now has a deeply committed team of musicians and staff, who deliver thousands of meaningful and impactful activities each year. We are seeking Trustees who can contribute skills, time, and energy, helping to develop our work and bring new insight alongside robust governance.
This includes those with a range of skills including lived experience alongside professional expertise.
We are particularly looking for Trustees with skills and experience of:
- Finance (including chairing the Finance and Risk Committee in due course)
- Legal
- Professional musician
- Health sector
- Northern Ireland (including chairing the Northern Ireland advisory committee)
Trustees meet quarterly, a mixture of in-person and online meetings. There are also sub-committees and working groups – the total time commitment is around 6-8 days per year. Trustees can be based anywhere in the UK.
The position is voluntary for an initial term of four years; travel expenses are reimbursed.

We will be reviewing applications as they come in. Those fitting our specifications will be invited to meet with the Chair and our CEO, and/or other Trustees from our Nominations Committee.
These conversations will take place as required, likely in August and September; we will notify you either way if you have been selected for interview or not. Applications will then be put to the Board for approval in our October meeting.
