Live Music Now Scotland Chairman, Elizabeth Fairbairn, said, "We are thrilled that The Prince of Wales who has been Patron of Live Music Now UK since 1996 has agreed to become Patron of Live Music Now Scotland. LMN set up its branch in Scotland in 1984 and works with a very diverse range of people that rarely, if ever, have the opportunity to experience live music. His Royal Highness has been a keen supporter over the years and we look forward to furthering our relationship with him in Scotland."

Live Music Now Scotland will continue to deliver its work as part of the overall Live Music Now network in the UK, but, from 1 April 2013, with its own charitable status in order to reflect the distinctive legal, accounting and regulatory position for charities in Scotland.
