Transforming Communities

Meet the team! Our London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026 runners

Join us in supporting our fantastic runners who are taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathonon on 12 April 2026 to raise vital funds for our charity and bring more live music to people in hospitals, special schools and in the community.

This year we’ll be cheering the team on from our location on Chancery Lane with live music from Quartet Pneumatik who will be playing a wide range of tunes for runners and supporters alike.

Once again, one of our amazing musicians, Elliott Morris, will not only run the half marathon but will then head straight to the The Admiralty pub on Trafalgar Square to perform a live set with Kyntra.

Meet Our Runners and Support Their Journey

Below are links to our runners’ JustGiving pages (just click on their names to pledge your support) and a brief insight from each about why they’ve chosen to join Team Live Music Now. Please consider making a donation and cheering them on as they train for the big day.

Thank you for your support. Let’s make this year’s London Landmarks Half Marathon a memorable one for Live Music Now!

Elliott

“Live Music Now is an amazing charity that connects professional musicians with people who may not otherwise have access to live music -whether in care homes, schools for children with additional needs, hospitals or community centres. As well as being a cause close to my heart, LMN provides work for over 300 musicians, giving us the opportunity to bring music to places where it can make a real difference.”

Lydia

“I’ve been working with Live Music Now for two years and have seen the vast impact they have on the wellbeing of so many communities.”

Philip

“I am running this HM for Live Music Now. A charity that brings live music to people with reduced access to music in communities across the UK.”

Hasan

“Music has been at the backdrop and decorated a lot of my life. It’s the one thing that I can’t do without. I listen to a range of genres of music daily and it has helped me become a more creative, more resilient and more inclusive individual. It would be a massive privilege to represent an organization that has a positive and inclusive social impact on the wellbeing and fostering of creativity in people.”

Hayley

“This will be my second time running LLHM. It was a challenge but I loved it! I love raising money to help support charities with their work and commitment.”

Edward

“Music has played a big part in my family growing up and it’s great to see the work Live Music Now do. An added bonus is that my sister works for the organisation and I can contribute by raising money for this cause!

James

“Music is there for every occasion and should be accessible to everyone! I’m keen to support Live Music Now and promote the amazing work that my sister and her colleagues are doing!”

Paula

“From begging my parents for a piano at age six, I’ve always been fascinated by live music. While I didn’t become the concert pianist I dreamed of when I was young, I now love working behind the scenes in the London music industry and experiencing the atmosphere, connection, and happiness that live performances create. I truly believe that everyone deserves access to that joy. That is why I am running the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026 for Live Music Now, a charity that brings live music sessions to those who need it most, especially in healthcare and social settings where music can make a massive difference to mental health and well-being. Every donation to LMN will fuel their work of sharing the connecting power of live music with communities across the UK.”

Helena

“Music keeps my world spinning but it wasn’t until the accessibility of music was removed from my life that I realised how much I missed it. I was very ill a couple of years ago and subsequently hospitalised for a month. The volunteers at the hospital who’d come to play the piano for me reminded me of what a gift it is to play and have access to an instrument. LMN gives the same gift to others who might not be in the position to access music. It’s therefore something I feel profoundly touched by. It’s a delight to run the LLHM and raise money for a charity that I resonate with so strongly.
