Comprising Bryony Middleton (oboe and piano), Polly Phillips (bassoon and saxophone) and Simon Gilliver (piano and flute), Winds of Change is a versatile Woodwind Ensemble. They first called themselves ‘Music with Humans,’ as they first started playing together after the COVID lockdowns, and the name represented their feelings on making music together after the isolation. Its members share vast experience as freelance musicians with leading ensembles, both across the UK and internationally. All are regular extras with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, and have many years of experience sharing their music with a huge number of audiences. Winds of Change performances take their audience on an exciting journey through the kaleidoscope of contrasting colours, characters and moods that woodwind ensembles can explore.
