Live Music Now Scotland was delighted to welcome back to Edinburgh the saxophone, accordion and bassoon ensemble, Les Buckel Combo, from Live Music Now Vienna. As well as giving a free of charge public performance in the Grand Gallery of the National Museum of Scotland, as part of the annual LMN Free Fringe Music series in partnership with the Museum, they gave interactive workshops with pre-school children and primary age children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. These children rarely, if ever, have the opportunity to experience a live performance and to be part of an audience.
The visit was Les Buckel's second to Scotland, and part of an ongoing Live Music Now International exchange programme which took traditional duo of Ewan Robertson and Megan Henderson to Vienna in May.
