Anna Ling is a singer, a songwriter, a guitarist, and a poetic and engaging performer. She is strongly influenced by British Folk music and has studied many singing styles, from Bulgarian singing to Indian Classical. She started gigging in Cambridge in her early teens, and would join her dad at folk sessions and sing with her mum in choirs. She traveled extensively in her early 20’s, with music leading the way, getting guitar lessons in Cuba, voice lessons in India, and often singing for her supper. She came back to study Ethnomusicology (World Music) at SOAS, and is currently recording her first album in Devon.
