Apollo’s Cabinet are a flexible Baroque ensemble with roots in London and connections across Europe. Murder-Mysteries, drinking songs, Cinderella stories, European tours, and candlelit contemplation all feature in the evocative and story driven programmes of Apollo’s Cabinet. Winners of many major international competitions for their innovative programmes, the group offer a signature mix of acting, dancing, poetry and fun to bring historical performance to modern audiences.
Tours have taken them across the UK, to the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Spain. They’ve even been to Liechtenstein – a country that’s only a 10th of the size of London!
The ensemble is dedicated to bringing Early Music to a wide audience and outreach projects have included collaborating with the Royal Opera House, Centre for Young Musicians, Brighton Early Music Festival, English National Opera and Wigmore Hall in England and ZAMUS Cologne in Germany.
