Ben Gorb

Ben sings and plays a wide range of pop and rock classics from the 50’s right through to present day, as well as his own acoustic based originals. He is particularly well versed in older 60’s to 70’s rock performing classic bands such as The Who and Queen. These artists are what inspired Ben to become a singer songwriter. Ben’s performances are filled with energy, driven by his powerful voice and percussive guitar style. The stage is where Ben is most comfortable, and encourages singing and participation where he can. His music also consists of softer, fingerpicking folk, showcasing his versatility and eclectic style. Ben is good friends with the folk guitarist Gordon Giltrap, who has been a big inspiration and excellent mentor for Ben and his live playing.
