Camilla (flute), Jernej (clarinet), and Emily (bassoon) founded the Levanto Ensemble with a shared desire to discover the colourful and eclectic woodwind repertoire. Twice finalists in the Royal Overseas League Chamber Prize, the Levanto Ensemble have developed a reputation for fresh and toe-tapping performances!
Inspired by theatre and dance, they love to use movement to enhance their audience’s experience. They are further influenced by their orchestral background, creating broad and rich soundscape. Having delved into repertoire from Baroque to Contemporary, they have a particular love for modern music that explore the unique nuances of their instruments. Audiences can expect leave concerts with a smile!
