Roland George Harrad is a singer who accompanies himself with acoustic guitar. As well as being classically trained vocally, he enjoys performing folk, jazz and popular music. His influences include Paul Simon, Gillian Welch, Jeff Buckley, The Ink Spots and Talking Heads. Roland delivers a sincere and intimate performance, displaying substantial vocal dexterity; he deeply enjoys conveying the story and emotional journey of the songs he performs. Roland writes his own songs and occasionally enjoys improvising lyrics/songs as and when the occasion arises.
