The Solsbury Hill Ensemble are a passionate, creative and engaging String Trio. Classically trained musicians – Alison Boden (Violin), Lucy Hewson (Violin/Viola), Lorna Davis (Cello) – love to explore a wide variety of musical styles, often using their own arrangements. Expect to enjoy well known favourites from pop, film and TV, music by classical composers and some unexpected musical surprises. The ensemble formed after the covid lockdown whilst Ali and Lorna were on maternity leave, in order to continue making music with friends alongside their babies. Lucy’s babies are now teenagers but she embracing the chaos with Ali’s and Lorna’s during rehearsals!
