” THOMAS HARVEY is a British singer/songwriter based in London, whose emotive blend of alt-pop, piano and electronic sounds has been likened for its individualism and eloquent lyrical themes of a bruised reality. Having studied at Leeds College of Music, he graduated with a first class honors in Popular Music: Composition (BA) and was also awarded the conservatoire prize. A multi-instrumentalist (Keyboard, Guitar, Voice), he performs in a diverse set of projects including his solo artist project Vaughan, which is influenced by artists including Ry X and Banks particularly after travelling throughout a significant part of his life. Now working on the release of his remarkable debut EP, co-produced by himself and producer Ryan Phillips (Imhotep Studio) as well as executively produced by Trevor Horn MD and arranger, Julian Hinton and mixed by Cameron Gower Poole (Mahalia, Anne Marie, Major Lazer). Outlining internal narratives of hedonism and anxiety, the EP is an introduction to his growing up and will be released alongside a music video for lead single, “I AM”. Harvey moved to London after graduating to work as a songwriter for artists he has worked with companies including Tileyard in writing sessions as well as previously working in writing camps around Europe involving BMI, Universal and Sony ATV Publishing. Having played as a finalist in the top ten of the Listen Up Songwriters Festival 2018 against over 2,000 entrants and with appearances at festivals including Liverpool Sound City and You Bloom Festival in Dublin Vaughan is set for an exciting year ahead with debut live appearances at venues including The Bedford and The Finsbury and collaborations across the industry.”
