Become a Fundraising Volunteer
Looking for a regular volunteering role that connects you with the local community? Becoming a fundraising volunteer might be for you!
Our fundraising volunteers are vital to the work we do at Live Music Now – not only raising crucial funds, but also act as ambassadors, helping to connect the work we do to those who need it most.
You’ll be put in touch with other volunteers in your community to form localised groups called ‘community fundraising groups’. With your group, you plan a range of fundraising events – anything from a trivia night to a charity concert!
Joining a Community Fundraising Group allows you to volunteer regularly – but at a flexible pace that suits your time. Plus, you’ll get to form new relationships with the people in your group, and in the wider community!
You can decide with your group how often you’d like to meet, the kind of events you’d like to organise and can even take on roles like group Chair, Secretary or Treasurer.
We’ll provide you and your group with training and a full suite of fundraising resources that will help you feel confident in your fundraising activity. If you decide to take on a leadership role within the group, you’ll be trained by a member of our staff.
Click on the role profiles below to explore what a position within a community fundraising group could look like for you!
If you want to sign up to be a fundraising volunteer, or have questions about becoming one, please email us at [email protected] with the subject ‘Fundraising volunteer’.
Become an Event Volunteer
We run events and sessions throughout the year and across the UK which we could always use a spare pair of hands for. Whether that’s helping to run our Songs and Scones events, or cheering our team on at the marathon, we’ve got something for everyone!
As an events volunteer, you’ll be provided with on-site training by a member of staff, and be given a Live Music Now T-shirt to wear while you volunteer.
