Will joins Goldie's Band – By Royal Appointment

LMN is delighted to announce that LMN harmonica player, Will, was one of twelve young musicians selected for Goldie's Band: By Royal Appointment who performed a concert in front of Prince Harry and invited guests at Buckingham Palace on 21 October.

After a UK wide search, Goldie selected Will (nominated by LMN) to take part in a BBC documentary which explores the way that a passion for music has influenced the lives of its young participants. In a series of intense residencies, the musicians were coached in composition by Goldie and a team of industry experts which included Soweto Kinch, Guy Chambers, and Cerys Matthews. The sessions culminated in a thrilling performance of their own compositions at Buckingham Palace, which will be broadcast as part of the BBC2 documentary, Goldie's Band: By Royal Appointment.

Will has said of his experience: 'it's been amazing, exciting, and life-changing. I worked with fantastic people and musicians, and our mentors were all amazing. I really hope to work with them all again in the future.'
