Transforming Communities

All About Me! Summer Project 2010 at Great Ormond Street Hospital School. LMN has teamed up with the National Portrait Gallery to deliver this exciting project.

Children, young people and their parents will have the opportunity to work with artists and musicians to create their own unique artists' journals representing their interests, thoughts and ideas. The project will explore the themes of identity and representation. Participants will create their own investigative artists' journal using themselves, their family, siblings, interests and Gallery Collection as source material.

The musicians will be Sarah Field, Annabelle Lawson, James Hughes and Tim Balnaves. They will be joining the visual artist and storyteller for the last week of the project during the week of 16-20th August.

We will be reporting on the progress of the project during September.
