Auditions took place over two days in Glasgow last week, and Live Music Now Scotland is delighted to announce five new ensembles that have been accepted onto the scheme.
Drumroll please……..
Let us introduce you to them:
- Beth Taylor: Mezzo-Soprano and Michal Gazjler: A classical voice and piano duo.
- Abigail and Nick: A classical duo on violin and piano; Abigail Young and Nick Lauener
- The All Sorts: A female a cappella quartet with Barbara Cole Walton, Grace Wain, Sarah Shorter and Jane Monari
- In Croce: A duo with Valerie Barr on accordion and Eddy Betancourt on violin.
- The Okapi Duo: A classical duo with flautist Katie Kim and guitarist Brian King.

Another round of auditions will take place on Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th January in Glasgow for Scottish traditional, jazz and rock/pop styles. We’re really looking forward to it!
