With it being the January sales, we’ve put together a guide to the three ways you can support LMN whilst shopping online – at no extra cost to you! Your day-to-day shopping could help us in reaching the thousands of vulnerable children and adults we bring live music to every year.
Give as You Live
How it works
Give as You Live make donations to your selected charity when you shop online through their website. It’s completely free to join and use, and costs you nothing when they donate. They’re cooperating with 4,400 stores including M&S, Sainsbury’s and Boots.
How much do they donate?
Donation amounts range from 0.25% to 50% of the price of your purchase depending on which store your shopping at. A weekly £40 shop at Sainsbury’s could support LMN with an easy £1.50, that’s £78 if you shopped like this through the year!
How to donate:
- Visit their website and click ‘sign up’.
- Search ‘Live Music Now Limited’ when prompted to select a charity, and click ‘support us’
- Complete the sign up form
- Once you’re logged in, browse Give as You Live’s list of cooperating stores to find one you want to shop at, then shop as normal
Easy Fundraising
How it works:
Similarly to Give As You Live, Easy Fundraising make donations to your selected charity when you shop online through their website. It’s completely free to join and use, and costs you nothing when they donate. They’re cooperating with 3,820 stores including Tesco, M&S and Clarks.
How much do they donate?
Donation amounts vary from 0.5% to 10% of the price of your purchase depending on which store you’re shopping at. If you bought your child’s new pair of shoes for £40 at Clarks, you’d send us £1.20!
How to donate:
- Go to their website then search and select ‘Live Music Now’ as your chosen charity.
- Continue by signing up with your email or Facebook account
- Once you’re signed up and logged in, browse their list of cooperating stores and find one you want to shop at
- Visit the store via our website or app, then shop as normal
Amazon Smile
How it works:
Amazon donate a percentage of what you spend on eligible items to your chosen charity. It’s free to join and costs you nothing to donate – but only certain items are eligible.
How much do they donate?
They donate 0.5% of what you spend. That’s not a huge amount, but it starts adding up for us – especially if it’s a big one off purchase you’re making like a new TV!
How to donate:
- If you don’t have an Amazon account, create one at amazon.co.uk
- Once you’ve made an account visit smile.amazon.co.uk
- Search and select ‘Live Music Now Limited’ as your chosen charity
- Shop as normal! It’s important to note: items that amazon make donations of will say ‘Eligible for smile.amazon.co.uk donation’ above the ‘buy now’ and ‘add to basket’ options.
If you have any questions about the above, or what more you can do to donate email [email protected] or phone 0207 759 1803.
