Live Music Now welcomes new London and South East Director

Live Music Now welcomes Nina Swann as the new London and South East Director.

Nina has over ten years of music outreach experience, developing and managing programmes at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, the London Symphony Orchestra, The Opera Group and Sound Connections. She has a particular interest in schools, families and the under-5s, and in developing and supporting individuals and ensembles working with those groups. Nina is a classically trained oboist and singer and still performs when given the chance. She is also mum to three lively daughters and governor at a local children's centre.

Nina said: "I'm delighted to be joining Live Music Now as Director of the London and South East branch. I've long admired the ambition and quality of this pioneering organisation and am looking forward to working with the fantastic musicians and organisations involved with the scheme."

Sue Heiser of LMN's London Committee commented: "I was so impressed by Nina. Huge professionalism coupled with infectious enthusiasm, talents and relevant experience.

She understands what LMN is all about and I'm sure will bring fresh ideas and energy for our development."

Former London and South East Director, Trudy White, continues to work with LMN as Strategic Director for Wellbeing.
