Congratulations to LMN's Will Pound for his nomination as Musician of the Year in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards. Will and his duo partner Dan Walsh (banjo) are hugely popular in LMN's venues, playing for children with special needs, older people and for patients in hospitals.
LMN supports the development of emerging musicians like Will and Dan by providing them not only with paid work but with the… opportunity to 'touch lives' in our communities, and to grow as musicians. A teacher in a London SEN school recently wrote of Will and Dan's performance for her pupils:
'A wonderful experience for all the children who were fully engaged throughout. It gave the children great joy and pleasure. This is immeasurable.'
