The Mellor-Redshaw Duo are an ensemble based in London consisting of clarinettist Andy Mellor and bassoonist Holly Redshaw. After first collaborating as part of their wind quintet, Festivo Winds, Holly and Andy subsequently began performing as a duo. They perform widely as a duo both within Live Music Now and at recital series across the South East, alongside their own freelance music careers.
They present imaginative programmes of music for clarinet and bassoon, featuring creative arrangements ranging from operatic arias and classical duos, to folk music and jazz classics.
Andy also has roots as a saxophonist and brings the jazz influence to the duo, and Holly is a keen folk-music explorer in her spare time.
