Transforming Communities

New Website is a major resource for musicians and community organisations

Live Music Now (LMN), the major force in assisting diverse communities to achieve a better quality of life through music, has re-launched its website. The site is full of information and advice for musicians as well as for private and public organisations interested in the benefits of involvement in live music.

LMN is the largest provider of live music to the UK's welfare, educational, justice and health sectors and employs talented young musicians at the outset of their careers to deliver its projects.

The new resource has a wealth of intelligence on what LMN does and how musicians can become involved. It also gives examples of how music benefits people, no matter what their circumstances, with direct feedback from participants, their carers and support staff.

Sarah Derbyshire, Executive Director, Live Music Now said:

"The new website is a great educational and resource tool for all those involved in live music performance in community settings. We believe it will be extremely helpful to musicians and also to organisations wanting to know more about the power of music to heal, soothe and stimulate those in disadvantaged circumstances and how they can harness this to help their own communities."

The website address is www.livemusicnow.org.
