Live Music Now was saddened to hear of the death of Tony Thornton, MBE at the end of January. Through the regular support of Mayfield Valley Arts Trust which Tony founded in 1987, Live Music Now has been proud to deliver hundreds of interactive concerts at special schools throughout South Yorkshire. These events have allowed young professional musicians to present inspiring and accessible performances to those who are often excluded from the joy of live music.
